Malaysian changemakers,
one story at a time.
Lestari shares real stories of cooperative members and communities advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across Malaysia — no big campaigns, just work that genuinely makes a difference.
How one person became the link between grassroots problems and solutions at scale.
Recycling used cooking oil into skincare products — a circular economy at the community level.
A neighbourhood upcycling effort that has since grown into a bigger initiative.
The GAPS interview series brings student and founder voices into an open conversation.
After years of advocacy — here’s what this change actually means.
Craft therapy as a space for healing — a story that started with a simple street observation.
The good work of our cooperative members, told as it really is.
Lestari exists to tell the real stories of members of Koperasi Matlamat Pembangunan Lestari Berhad (Kop SDG) — entrepreneurs, volunteers, and communities driving impactful projects across Malaysia.
We started in March 2026 with no ad budget, and grew organically to over 5,000 followers within 5 months — proof that honest community stories can carry themselves.
Every story is backed by at least 3 SDGs.
Illustrative SDG mapping by story theme — full mapping follows the actual project.
Three platforms, one mission.
The main home for changemaker stories — reels, carousels, and the GAPS series.
